For the occasion of the first anniversary of the Slovene National Theatre (SNT) there was a festival in Črnomlje and a theatre archive was founded. Linhart's comedy was to start off the festival. Many problems stood in the way, not least of all that there was not enough cloth for the costumes, nor was there any thread. Branko Simčič came up with a very clean, transparent scenography. Micka became the last performance of the SNT on the liberated territories, while the concluding mission was marked by performances of A Marriage Proposal, The Bear, Ragamuffins and The Imaginary Invalid. Kumbatovič sums up the SNT's work on the liberated territories thus: »... to genuine art, there's a long way to go ... all of our theatre so far has merely been a Lilliputian adventure.«
